Generally, we just know that curd is very beneficial for Skin and Health. Externally or Internally, it is highly beneficial.

As per Ayurved, CURD is-

  • रोचनम् (Appetizer)
  • दीपनम् (enhancing digestion)
  • वृष्य (Aphrodisiac)
  • स्नेहनम् (Unctuous)
  • बलवर्धनम् (Improves Strength)
  • माङ्गल्यं (Auspicious) 
  • बृंहणं (Improves Nourishment)

Rhinitis, Diarrhea, Fever with cold, Anorexia, Dysuria, Emaciation.

Whether it is Day or Night, There are some ways or rules to take curd. You can take Curd with-

  • Ghee
  • Mishri
  • Moong Water(soup)
  • Honey
  • Amla

Heated curd is also contraindicated.
