Use Vegetables This Method Then They Will Not Cause Much Aggaravation of Doshas.

Avoid Raw Vegies Because They Are Heavy to Digest.

Among All Vagetables Jivanti is the Best and Sarshap (Leaves of Mustard) Are Inferior So Avoid in Diet.

In All Samhitas Following Properties of Vegetables Are Described.

1. Patola (Parwal): – It is Good for Heart, Increase Taste of Food, Useful in Worms, Sweet After Digestion.

2. Karvellaka (Bitter Gourd): – It is Bitter in Taste, Increase Strength of Digestive Fire, Nitigates Kapha Dosha.

3. Vartak(Brinjal): – It is 2types (1) Bitter or Pungent (2) Sweet

Both Are Hot in Potency, Mitigates Vata and Kapha Dosha, It is Slightly Alkaline, Increase Digestive Strength, Good for Heart, Improves Taste, Slightly Increase Pitta Dosha.

4. Palak: – Hard to Digest, Laxative.

5. Upodika(Spinach): – It is Hard to Digest, Laxative, and Relives Intoxication.

6. Jivanti: – Good for Eyes, Mitigates All Three Doshas, Sweet in Tatste, Cold in Potency.

7. Kusmand (Ash Gourd): – It is Best Among All Creepers. It is Balances the Vata and Pitta Dosha, Clenses the Urinary Bladder, Aphrodisiac.

8. Tumba(Alabu), Kalinga, Ervaruk(Cucumber): – It is Very Dry, Absorbent. When They Are Tender Mitigates Pitta and Cold in Potency. When Ripe Aggravates Pitta and Hot in Potency.

9. Lasuna(Garlic): – It is Very Pungent and Hot in Potency, Heavy, Unctous, Increase Digestive Power, Improves Digestion, Bitter After Digest. It is Laxative, Good for Heart, Hair.it is Useful in Fracture, Skin Disease, Piles, Worms, Vata and Kapha Doshas Vitiation, Cough. It is Vitiate Pitta and Rakta.

10. Surana: – It is Increase Digestive Strength, Improves Taste, Easily Digestible.it is Specifically Useful in Piles.
