In Ayurveda There Are Certain Rules for Healthy and Happy Life.i.e. Dincharya (Daily Regimen), Ratricharya (Night Regimen), Ritucharya (Seasonal Regimen) and Sadvritta (Code of Good Conduct).
These Rules Helps in Prevention of Disease and Promote Healthy Life.

2. Control Over Sense Organ
In Charak Samhita Sutra Sthan Chapter 8 Different Types of Code of Conduct Described Are as Followes:-

(1) Sharirika Sadvritta (Physical Code of Conduct): -

  • Have a Bath Once or Twice Daily According to Season Because Bathing is Auspicious and Aphrodisiac.
  • Properly Cleaning Excretory System of Body So Infection Does Not Occur.
  • Follow Hair Cutting, Shaving, Nail Cutting Are Done in Three Times in a Fortnightly.
  • Always Wear Clean or Well Fitted Clothes.
  • Always Cover Mouth While Yawning, Laughing and Sneezing.
  • Proper Routine Oil Massage on Head, Nostrils and Ears.

(2) Mansika Sadvritta (Mental Code of Conduct): -

  • Control on Sensory Organs.
  • Don’t Belive Nor Suspect Everything Around You.
  • Don’t Feel Exhilarated in Success and Depressed in Failures.
  • Always Remember That the Result of Auspicious Deeds is Good and the Result of Bad is Bad; So Always Remain Prepared to Start Auspicious and Fruitful Dees.
